Well, prefer Tim Burtons more gothic, and undoubtedly more unrealistic, premise. After all it has what many consider the true Batman theme tune rather than Nolan's- DUUUUUUM, DUUUUUUM, DUUUUUM- not quite on par with the orchestral 1989 approach. But if I have to choose- The Dark Knight wins because its just so much fun, tense and exciting throughout.
